Two nodes with “8 cores / 16 GB” are not equal if one has only grid+fiber and the other has solar, generator, Starlink and thermal headroom. Resilience is a scheduling primitive.

honesty

The node is not a trusted oracle

A signed claim on the DAG proves the claim was incorporated. It does not prove the wattmeter. The appliance evidence plane closes that gap. The MacBook Fog is useful Gen-0 because it shows software-up ≠ physically-up.
